What: Homeownership Connection Classes
The classes are offered in English and Spanish regularly with additional languages added based on need.

Hosted by Housing Network’s Homeownership Connection (HOC)
When: Year Round
Mon.-Thur. evenings, Saturday Morning, and one or two weekday mornings
Where: Various sites throughout the state

What: Homebuyer Education
Class content covers qualifying for a mortgage, correcting credit problems, saving for a down payment and more. Classes are limited to 50 people.

EVENTS

What: Still Separate and Unequal: A Public Hearing on the State of Fair Housing in America
The hearings, chaired by former HUD Secretaries Jack Kemp and Henry Cisneros, will explore:
  • The persistence of discrimination and segregation
  • The impact of segregation on our communities and on education, and the benefits of integrated neighborhoods
  • Strategies to break down residential segregation and provide households isolated in segregated areas the opportunity to find integrative alternatives
