What: Homeownership Connection Classes
The classes are offered in English and Spanish regularly with additional languages added based on need.

Hosted by Housing Network’s Homeownership Connection (HOC)
When: Year Round
Mon.-Thur. evenings, Saturday Morning, and one or two weekday mornings

What: Homebuyer Education
Class content covers qualifying for a mortgage, correcting credit problems, saving for a down payment and more. Classes are limited to 50 people.

What: Fair Housing Essay Awards Ceremony
Students from eleven Rhode Island communities – Charlestown, Cumberland, East Greenwich, Exeter, Hopkinton, Jamestown, Narragansett, North Kingstown, South Kingstown, Westerly and West Greenwich will be represented. The Narragansett Affordable Housing Corporation (NAHC) provided educational seminars to elementary and middle school students and invited them to enter a contest on the topic of Fair Housing and Discrimination. Many students submitted excellent entries in regards to fair housing and creative ideas on how to stand against discrimination in our community. Four students were selected from each community and will be recognized at the reception.
